Pride Run 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday 21st of July, we are joining the 24st edition of the Pride Run, organized by Rainbow Athletics! You can choose to run 5 km, 10 km or 15 km. Please, note that to join the 15 km run, you need to be able to finish the run within 1 hour and 30 minutes. Besides running, you can also go hiking. A 5 km walking trail has been mapped out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For all the runs, there are 3 gender categories: x\/f\/m. Pre-registration opens July 2nd until July 21st. But you can already sign up to be part of the We Are Queer, Queers Outdoors Club Running team, here: https:\/\/forms.gle\/bNo17UbYyYiCR82m6<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For official race registration, you’ll also need to register yourself via the website of Rainbow Athletics. You can find more information about pre-registration here: https:\/\/www.rainbowathletics.amsterdam\/pride-run.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019d like support from the community care fund to cover the race fee, you can let us know in the google form! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Running Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

In the run-up to this year\u2019s Pride Run, we have set up a running challenge in collaboration with our Right to Run partner On. WERQ runners who commit themselves to join at least 10 running sessions in May, June and July will receive a pair of free running shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To join this challenge, please fill in the google form. Every runner will receive their pair of shoes at the beginning of May. As soon as you have registered for this challenge, we will send you more information about collecting your pair of On running shoes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can sign-up for the On Running Challenge until Monday May 13th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dam tot Dam loop 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest, and most popular running races in the Netherlands is the Dam tot Dam loop. As We Are Queer, Queers Outdoors Club Runners we will obviously take on this challenge and run this awesome race in September! This year our Right To Run partner, On, is a sponsor of the Dam tot Dam. Also, the London Queer Running Club will be joining us at the start. All the more reason to make this year the queerest Dam tot Dam run yet and to celebrate queer runners. We will soon share the sign-up details for the Dam tot Dam loop. So keep an eye out on our socials and let us know if you want to be part of our running whatsapp group or mailing list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
