Wheelchair accessibility

We Are Queer is wheelchair accessible. We have a large garage door that can be opened to access the space. The dressing room and the toilet are not wheelchair accessible. The nearest public spaces with wheelchair accessible toilets are Tropen Museum (at 400 meter distance, open Tuesday-Saturday 10-17hr) and hotel The Manor (at 700 meter distance, open 24/7). Closest accessible public transport stops are ‘Pontanusstraat’ (tram 14, 400 meter distance) and ‘Muiderpoortstation’ (train, tram 3, bus 22, 37, 40, 245, at 650 meter distance).

Sensory experience

We Are Queer is an unheated space. We do have small electric heaters available if needed.

During gym classes, music volume and genre are adjusted to the needs of the participants. Music can be turned off completely if desired, and you are welcome to wear noise canceling headphones.
